A 70-year-old woman was left with life threatening injuries after a collision between two cars in Poole on Saturday night. It happened on the A349 Broadstone Way at about 9pm, when a blue Vauxhall Astra and a silver Honda Civic collided.
The fire service said that they had cut two women out of the Civic. Both were taken to Poole Hospital and one of them, a 70-year-old, is now in a life-threatening condition, police said overnight. The road was closed for hours while crash investigators examined the scene.
