Three men are due to be sentenced today for the murder of Italian waiter Joele Leotta in Maidstone last year.
Alexandras Zuravliovas, Salulius Tamoliunas and Linas Zidonas were found guilty of murder and grievous bodily harm.
The men broke into the 20 year-old's bedsit in October 2013 in a drunken rage.
They beat him more than 100 times with makeshift weapons
Detective Inspector Ivan Beasley from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate said, "Joele’s death was an absolutely tragic waste of life. An innocent young man who came to England with his friend for an adventure, to work and to learn the language, was beaten to death."
