A father-of-two originally from Guildford and living in New Zealand was among the passengers on board the Malaysia Airlines plane which came down on the Ukraine/ Russia border.
New Zealand-based Robert Ayley has left behind his wife Sharlene and two young sons, aged two and four. Before he boarded the flight he sent an email expressing how much he wanted to come home and see his family.
