Three jailed after armed robbery at Hampshire jewellers

The armed robbery happened at a jewellery shop in Lymington

Three men who held a jeweller at gunpoint while they robbed his shop in Lymington in Hampshire have been jailed for a combined total of twenty-seven years.

Tudorel Dogerou was sentenced to 13 years and the other two defendants - Mugerel Megelea and Sergiu Popirtac - were jailed for seven years each at Southampton Crown Court, after pleading guilty to conspiracy to commit robbery. The crime happened at Barry Papworth Jewellers on Lymington High Street on 17 October 2013.
