Runners who took part in the Bournemouth 10k have complained to organisers after they were forced to run an extra three kilometres.

300 competitors were sent on the detour when a marshal left their post. The council has apologised to all the runners affected and is urging people to contact them for a 'goodwill gesture'.

ITV Meridian spoke to 10k competitor Pawel Surowiec.
