Police have issued issuing an efit of a man who assaulted a woman in a Hampshire park and threatened to kill her son and daughter.

The 57-year-old woman was sitting in Havant Park talking to her grown up daughter and son when two men came up to them and one tried to attack her son with a two foot long tyre iron.

The woman and daughter shouted at the men to stop. One then kicked the woman in the stomach and threatened to kill her and her daughter and son before walking out of the park towards Aldi. She suffered minor injuries.

The two men are both white. One is described as aged in his early 40s and of stocky build. He had messy grey coloured hair. He was slightly taller than the second male and was wearing a grey t-shirt.

The second man was of very large build and about 35-years-old. He was wearing a blue t-shirt and faded denim jeans.

Police are now appealing for information about the crime which happened at around 2.20pm on Wednesday, September 30. They’d also like to hear from anyone who recognises the man in the efit.
