Youths stamp on 11-year-old's glasses in cruel attack

Police are appealing for witnesses to a robbery in which an 11-year-old was attacked by two youths in broad daylight in Bracknell.

At around 8.20am on Wednesday, the 11-year-old boy was walking up a pathway when two boys jumped from some bushes and walked towards him.

One of the boys then ran towards the victim, knocked him to the ground and punched and kicked him. One offender removed the boy’s rucksack and emptied it. The second offender assaulted him while the other stamped on his glasses.

The youngster sustained facial injuries, grazes and minor bruising. A small quantity of loose change was stolen.

The first offender is white, aged 15 to 16 years of age with ginger hair which is shaved at the sides, longer on top and had been gelled back. He was wearing a black Nike hooded top, black jogging trousers and blue trainers.

The second offender is white, aged 15 to 16 years of age, with brown cropped hair, a pierced right ear and was wearing a silver stud earring. He was wearing a light blue block coloured t-shirt, black jogging trousers and white trainers.
