Temporary school takes shape after Selsey Academy fire

When The Academy in Selsey went up in flames in August, shock was matched with despair in the coastal community.

Hundreds of children in the Sussex town were left with the prospect of not having a school to attend when the term restarted in September.

But even while firefighters were still at the scene, damping down the smouldering debris, school officials pledged it would rise from the ashes.

And this week marks a key milestone in the process, with the arrival of temporary classrooms. Emma Wilkinson reports.
