Officer breaks down in dead baby appeal

A senior officer with Thames Valley Police made a difficult, emotional, appeal today - to the mother of a baby girl found dead in Oxfordshire.

The child's body was found on a footpath near Edgeway Road in Marston in February by a member of the public. An inquest later revealed the baby - who has since been named by police as Raihana - was stillborn.

Officers have not traced the mother, and today announced a funeral will take place next week. Cary Johnston reports:
