A Copthorne man has been sentenced to 11 years after raping two 'vulnerable' women at a graveyard in Horsham.

Jordan Tobutt, aged 23 was found guilty in October last year for raping a 35 year old and 26 year old woman between 2013 and 2014 at a graveyard off Denne Road.

It is reported that the victims already knew Mr Tobutt and all three have learning difficulties.

In sentencing the Judge described Mr Tobutt as "manipulative and devious"

He will be on the sex offender register for life and was given a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) severely restricting his access to vulnerable people.

You are manipulative and devious. Your methods are not sophisticated but they don't need to be. The people you exploit are extremely vulnerable.

– Judge Janet Waddicor

This was a particularly sensitive investigation as both the offender and his victims have learning difficulties, but it was clear that he was much less vulnerable than them.
