Thames Valley Police have confirmed that two Hereford fans have been arrested and bailed following yesterday's disturbance at Didcot Town's match against Hereford.
The Southern League fixture had to be abandoned two minutes from time following a pitch invasion and subsequent violence.
Thames Valley released the following statement:
“Two people were arrested in connection with this incident.
A 19-year-old man from Hereford was arrested on suspicion of a public order offence, and a 19-year-old man from Hereford was arrested on suspicion of common assault.”
“Both men have been released on bail, one until 4 April and the other until 6 April.”
