Police appalled at lorry driver's response after he's pulled over for using mobile phone

Kent Police have fined a foreign lorry driver after he was pulled over for using his mobile phone which driving.

But they were appalled at his response, after he said: 'These rules are stupid'.

The Roads Policing Unit tweeted about the incident which happened on the M20 near Ashford:

The offender was given six points on his license and had to pay £200 before he could continue his journey.

The account of the incident has outraged any people on social media including @NSiveston who wrote:

'Take an iPad and show some horrific videos of lorry drivers on mobiles causing carnage. film their response and upload'.
