Police investigating Bicester sexual assault release e-fit

Thames Valley Police have released an e-fit of a man in connection with a sexual assault in Bicester.

The appeal for information follows a report from a 24-year-old woman who said she was attacked at about 9.15pm on Monday 27th March 2017. She said that she had been walking from Sheep Street to London Road in Bicester when a man approached her - and touched her inappropriately. He then walked off towards the town centre.

“We are releasing an e-fit of the offender who is described as Asian or mixed race, in his mid to late twenties, about 5ft 7ins, slim, with marks or spots on his face, dark coloured eyes and dark coloured eyebrows.

“He was wearing a grey beanie hat at the time of the offence.

“If anyone recognises the offender please contact police immediately by either calling 101 or visiting a police station and quoting reference 43170090679.

“If you do not want to speak directly to the police you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court.

“This was a frightening experience for the victim so it is vital that anyone with any information contacts the police as soon as possible.”
