Reading's promotion dreams come a step closer

Reading fans are off to Wembley and the clubs dreams of being promoted to the Premier League are now a step closer. They are through to the play off finals, after beating Fulham at the Madejski stadium. The first leg ended in a 1-1 draw at Craven Cottage but Reading have been unbeaten in their last four home matches against Fulham and the crowd was optimistic.

It was nil- nil at half time, but shortly into the second half a penalty saw Yann Kermorgant score the only goal, to book the Royals place at Wembley. Fans were so delighted they invaded the pitch to celebrate with the team. They will now play either Sheffield Wednesday or Huddesfield on May the 29th for a place in the top flight.
