Reading FC's hopes of playing in the top flight were dashed yesterday after their defeat at Wembley.
The Royals have missed out on promotion to the Premier League, which is worth £170 million.
More than 30,000 fans travelled to the match full of hope but after a goalless 120 minutes Reading lost 4-3 on penalties.
It is not the first time the Royals have lost in the Championship play-off final.
As Andrew Pate reports.
Andrew spoke to Captain of Reading FC, Chris Gunter and Co-Chairman of the club Sir John Madejski.
