A 22 year old doorman has been jailed for six months for dangerous driving in Crawley.
Saif Khan from Ealing in London drove on the wrong side of the road and jumped two red lights to get away from police officers attempting to pull him over.
PC Steve Creal and PC Pete May saw the Yamaha scooter tailgating cars and breaking the speed limit southbound on the M23 on the evening of 16th February.
The officers tried to pull him over but the bike took off, going around 100mph to get away from them.
The pursuit ended after Khan crashed into a BMW while driving on the wrong side of the road, breaking his hand.
The driver of the BMW was uninjured.
Khan was charged with dangerous driving, failing to stop and driving without insurance or a licence after he was released from hospital.
