Stepping back in time - footpath reopens after 40 years

It's taken a 40 year battle, but a public footpath along the Sussex cliffs has finally been re-opened.

The path, running through a sewage works at Telscombe, had been diverted for health and safety reasons.

But ramblers never gave up their fight to use it once again.

And now it forms part of a vast network being developed around the coast of England, as Malcolm Shaw has been finding out.
