An Oxford University medical student who died following a landslide in Nepal has been described as "the best of people" by friends.
Charlotte "Lottie" Fullerton suffered a fatal head injury as rocks rained down while trekking in the country's Mustang region on August 10th, according to reports.
The keen tennis player was reportedly about to start her fourth year at Jesus College.
Her brother suffered minor injuries in the landslide and accompanied her to hospital, according to local reports.
A college statement said "She exemplified the very best of our student community. Lottie was caring and compassionate, energetic and enthusiastic. She excelled both academically and athletically, and we were looking forward to welcoming her back to College to begin her clinical training. We offer our heartfelt condolences to her family and friends."
A service for Misss Fullerton - who also attended Canford School in Dorset will be held at Jesus College chapel, Oxford.
