Girl, 19, fined £1,000 for flytipping in Kent

A teenage girl has been fined £1,000 for flytipping in Chatham.

Police found documents of Vineta Doneka, who is 19, in the dumped rubbish left in Shawsted Way in November last year.

The pile consisted of eight bin liners full of clothes, bedding, paperwork and general waste.

"The council clears around 467 tonnes of fly tipped waste and almost 1620 tonnes of litter from the streets of Medway each year, and that costs £4million to dispose of - people who dump rubbish on our streets should be well and truly ashamed of themselves."
