The future of Clandon: Controversy over stately home plans

The former owner of historic Clandon Park House in Surrey says the plans for a £30m restoration of the site is a waste of money.

Two years ago, the stately home was devastated by fire.

This month, the National Trust has commissioned 6 designs for rebuilding the home.

But, the Earl of Onslow, whose family lived there, says nothing can replace the original.
