Veterans and serving members of 99 Squadron of the Royal Air Force have been at RAF Brize Norton today to celebrate 100 years since the unit was created. The Princess Royal, Princess Anne, joined them for the event which included a flypast.
The squadron flew several missions during the First World War. More recently it has been delivering food, water and shelter to people living in the British Virgin Islands who were hit by Hurricane Irma. Penny Silvester was there for the celebrations.
