Army sergeant 'tampered with wife's parachute'

A court has heard claims that an army sergeant tampered with his wife's parachute before she jumped out of a plane. Victoria Cilliers suffered multiple injuries - but survived the fall at Netheravon Airfield on Salisbury Plain in 2015.

Her husband - Emile Cilliers - who's also accused of damaging a gas valve - at the family home just days before - denies attempted murder. The jury at Winchester Crown Court heard the 37-year-old was having an affair - and sleeping with his ex-wife at the time. Kerry Swain reports.
