A memorial service has been held honouring the Berkshire author who created Paddington Bear.
Michael Bond CBE grew up in Newbury and was educated at Presentation College in Reading.
Film stars, friends and family gathered to remember him at St Paul's Cathedral in London. Tributes at the service were led by actor Hugh Bonneville, who said the Paddington character has been a childhood favourite since 1958.
In total the author wrote over 150 books. His final words will be published next year.
