I can confirm this bill of information. This is a misdemeanor 1 count of criminal damage to property that was filed against Mr. Brand. This has gone to the municipal court and they will set a date for arraignment.
Comedian Russell Brand has been charged for throwing a photographer's phone through a window. The incident happened in New Orleans earlier this year while Brand was making a new film. If convicted, he could face six months in jail, or 10 hours of community service.
