Sanjay and Bev Patel run the shop where the Bayford's bought their winning EuroMillions lottery ticket. They said the £148 million win could not have happened to a nicer couple. Mrs Patel said:

Britain's second biggest-ever lottery winners, Gillian and Adrian Bayford, from Haverhill in Suffolk, celebrated winning more than £148 million.
EuroMillions winner Adrian Bayford said winning more than £148 million will allow them to take the whole family on holiday to Disneyland.
His wife Gillian says she has always wanted to try sky-diving, and will now be able to realise this dream, if she can get the life insurance.
Gillian was putting their young son to bed when her husband Adrian came up to the room and told her they had won more than £148 million. Gillian said she didn't believe him initially and told him to keep the noise down.
When she finally looked at her husband, who by this stage was "quite pale" she decided to check the numbers herself. When the couple discovered they had won they "just looked at each other and giggled for a while".
