Pair arrested over three-year-old's death
A man and woman have been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a three-year-old girl in Preston.
Lancashire Police said a murder investigation has been launched after Lia Green died on Thursday. A 22-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman are being questioned by detectives.
Lia was feeling unwell on the morning of Thursday August 30 and was taken by paramedics from her home to Royal Preston Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
