David Weir 'very proud' of Paralympic gold medal win
Paralympic champion David Weir has said he is "very proud" but "shocked" to clinch gold in the men's 1500m T54 final.
He told Channel 4: "I'm very proud and shocked really.
"It's been a really strong field this year in the event.
"I wasn't as nervous tonight. The plan was to win on the first night and I did. Once you get one under your belt you can start to relax really."

Swimmer Matt Walker has won bronze for Great Britain in the men's 50m freestyle S7 race at the Aquatics Centre.
The 34-year-old has now won 12 Paralympic medals - including four in the men's 50m freestyle event.
