Guatemala has deported wanted anti-virus software founder John McAfee to the US after releasing him from prison. Mr McAfee had been denied political asylum after evading officials in Belize who want to question him over the death of his neighbour.

Software company founder John McAfee has been arrested in Guatemala City for entering the country illegally.
Interior minister Mauricio Lopez Bonilla said today McAfee was detained by police at a hotel in a wealthy neighbourhood.
Yesterday McAfee said he had formally requested asylum in Guatemala, claiming he is being persecuted in Belize, where he is wanted for questioning over the fatal shooting of a neighbour.

A video has been posted on YouTube chronicling life 'on the run' with John McAfee.
Vice magazine has been filming with him over the past five days. The footage appears to show the founder of the anti-virus software company calling the authorities with fake tips on his whereabouts.
It also shows him approaching a security checkpoint.
McAfee's neighbour was shot at his home in Belize
Technology millionaire John McAfee is wanted for questioning by police in Belize who are trying to solve the murder of his neighbour Gregory Faull.
Mr Faull was found dead with a gunshot wound to the head on 11 November.
McAfee denies any involvement in the businessman's death.

Anti-virus software founder John McAfee has spoken about his fears of being questioned by police in Belize where he faces questioning over the murder of his neighbour.
McAfee was in hiding for three weeks before appearing in Guatemala on Tuesday.
He has said he is innocent and plans to seek asylum as he is being persecuted.

John McAfee: 'I am absolutely innocent'
Software company founder John McAfee said he is "absolutely innocent" as he surfaced in Guatemala on Tuesday after going on the run from police in Belize investigating the murder of an American expat.
McAfee is wanted for questioning in connection with the killing of his neighbour Gregory Viant Faull, who was shot to death in early November.
He told the Associated Press:
I need a safe place where I can actually speak out. Now that I'm here I can speak freely. I can speak openly.
Belize does not have a good track record of providing safety when they ask to question you.
I felt much more secure crossing the border into a country that had laws that were backed by the justice system.
