Christmas festivities have begun at Camp Bastion in Helmand Province, Afghanistan.
Soldiers were treated to a sleigh race and carol service. Over 2,000 troops from across Camp Bastion were able to congregate for a carol service with mince pies.
British troops in the Helmand Province in Afghanistan have begun celebrating, as the Christmas Carol Service gets underway at Camp Bastion. Servicemen and women took part in the festivities, in which hymn sheets and mince pies were served.
