Bernalillo County sheriff's spokesman Aaron Williamson has said that the motive of the teenage boy who shot dead five people at a home in New Mexico is not yet known, the New York Post reports.
Mr Williamson also said that investigators were trying to determine any connection of the teenager to the victims and if the victims were related.
A 15-year-old boy has been charged with the murder of two adults and three children in Albuquerque, New Mexico, according to US news website KOB.com
On Saturday night, police found five people dead at a home Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office said.
A man, a woman, two girls and a boy were reportedly found in the home with several gunshot wounds.
Police also said multiple weapons, including an assault type rifle, were found nearby.
A teenage gunman has fatally killed five people in New Mexico, U.S, according to the Associated Press.
The suspect is reportedly in custody.
