Facebook has unveiled a "richer, simpler, more beautiful" news feed, with its founder Mark Zuckerberg describing his vision for the new design as the "best personalised newspaper".

Facebook unveil multiple choice of feeds in new design

Facebook has unveiled a host of changes to its News Feed today including pages for bands and artists, multiple feed choices and a consistent look across web, tablet and mobile.

Mark Zuckerberg unveils Facebook News Feed revamp

Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg has unveiled a new look for the site's News Feed which he said is "designed for the way we are sharing today and the trends we see going forward."

Mr Zuckerberg said the design focused on "rich stories, visual and engaging, your choice of different feeds...and a mobile inspired consistent UI (user interface)."
