Dave Lee Travis has told the media he has not been charged by police and his "conscience is clear."
The DJ, who was re-arrested by Savile police over further allegations of sexual assault on Monday, denied any wrong-doing and said his reputation had been "tarnished" and "dragged through the mud".

A spokesman for Scotland Yard said a man in his 60s from Bedfordshire had been interviewed when he answered bail on Monday.
He said the man was "further arrested on suspicion of sexual offences in connection with further allegations made to Operation Yewtree".
Dave Lee Travis was originally arrested in November. When he answered his bail on Monday, police arrested and quizzed him about new sexual offences.
