Spanish police have confirmed that the arrests of two alleged members of an Al-Qaeda terrorist cell was as a result of "international police co-operation".
It's understood that the force received support from their French and Moroccan counterparts.
Police in Spain have arrested two North African men who they allege are members of Al-Qaeda.
The Ministry of the Interior said that the men are "suspected of being members of a terrorist cell related to the radical organisation Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb".
Algerian Mediouni Nou was detained in Zaragoza in the Aragon region, while Moroccan Hassan El Jaaouani was detained in Murcia.
