Police say it is unlikely they will prosecute anybody over the death of Jade Anderson because they could not prove a crime had been committed.
The funeral will take place today of Jade Anderson, the 14-year-old girl who was mauled by a pack of dogs near Wigan.
Jade was found at the home of a friend in Atherton, near Wigan, on March 26. Jade was alone when she was attacked by four dogs - believed to be two bull mastiffs and two Staffordshire bull terriers. They were later shot by police marksmen.
