Stuck bus causes TdF confusion

The organisers of Stage 1 of the Tour de France were forced to move the finish of the race after a bus crashed into a barrier.

Tour de France finish moved twice

The organisers of the Tour de France were forced to move the finish line of the first stage of the competition twice after the Orica Greenedge team bus became stuck at the finish line.

Riders were told the race would finish at three kilometres (two miles) from the line.

But organisers were able to re-instate the finish after the bus was moved.
