Arrest over teacher's murder

A man has been arrested over the murder of nursery teacher Sabrina Moss, who was shot dead while celebrating her 24th birthday. A 22-year-old was arrested at St Pancras International station last night, on suspicion of murder and attempted murder.

Second Kilburn shooting victim "not seriously injured"

A 24-year-old woman who survived a double shooting in Kilburn has not been seriously injured, police say.

The other victim, also a 24 year old woman, died in hospital from her injuries.

"Detectives are investigating the fatal shooting of a 24-year-old woman in Kilburn.

Officers were called at 4.20am on Saturday, 24 August, to reports of shots fired in Kilburn High Road.

Police and London Ambulance Service attended the scene to find two women suffering from gunshot injuries. Both were taken to London hospitals.

A 24-year-old woman was pronounced dead later on Saturday morning."

'Innocent' woman shot dead while celebrating birthday

A 24-year-old woman has died in hospital after a double shooting while out celebrating her birthday, police said.

Sabrina Moss, of Edgware, north London, who was gunned down early today, is believed to have been caught in the wrong place at the wrong time, a senior officer said.

Detective Chief Inspector John Sandlin of the Metropolitan Police said: "Enquiries continue to establish the full circumstances of this tragic incident.

"At this early stage, I believe the two women were innocent parties who were caught in the wrong place at the wrong time."

Another 24-year-old woman is in hospital. Her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
