The Duchess of Cambridge has joined in a game of volleyball during her first public engagement since the birth of Prince George.
Since Prince George's birth in July, the Duchess of Cambridge has rarely been seen in public as she adjusts to life as a mother.
In September, Prince William and Kate spent their first night away their son to attend a black-tie awards ceremony.
The Duchess had previously made her first surprise public appearance since George's birth when she joined her husband as he started the Anglesey Coastal Ultra Marathon in August.
The Duchess of Cambridge will carry out her first solo engagement since the birth of Prince George at a SportsAid charity event later today.
Kate, who became patron of the charity last April, will view young athletes taking part in a number of sports activities including wheelchair basketball, fencing and badminton.
The Duchess will then join athletes and their parents as they attend educational workshops and receive advice from Olympians and Paralympians including Katherine Grainger, Ade Adepitan and Karen Pickering.
