A mother charged with the murder of her seven-week-old son has appeared in court.
Katarzyna Gacek, 24, of Roundthorn Road, Oldham, is accused of murder and assault or ill-treatment of a child.
Gacek was remanded into custody and will appear before Manchester Crown Court on Tuesday.
Darren Butterfield, 35, of Ross Avenue, Chadderton, and Dawid Mokrzanowski, 26, of Hillside Avenue, Oldham, are also due at Oldham Magistrates' Court later charged with child neglect.
The mother of a seven-week-old baby boy who died from severe head injuries will appear in court today.
Katarzyna Gacek, 24, of Hillside Avenue in Oldham, Greater Manchester, is accused of killing her son Thomas Gacek. She is charged with murder and child neglect.
Darren Butterfield, 35, of Ross Avenue, Chadderton, and Dawid Mokrzanowski, 26, of Hillside Avenue, have also been charged with child neglect in connection to the case.
The three will appear at Oldham Magistrates Court.
Three people have been charged following the death of a seven-week-old baby in Oldham.
The baby boy had been admitted from a house on Hillside Avenue, Oldham with severe head injuries last Sunday, and subsequently died.
Katarzyna Maria Gacek was charged with murder and child neglect of Thomas Gacek, Greater Manchester Police said. Dawid Mokrzanowski and James Butterfield were also charged with child neglect.
All three will appear before Oldham Magistrates' Court tomorrow.
