Man who took pupils hostage at Russian school 'neutralised'

Russian media has reported that the hostage situation at a Moscow school has concluded after a gunman was "neutralised". A security guard and a teacher were reportedly killed during the incident. A policeman was also injured.

Pupils taken hostage at Moscow school 'unharmed'

Pupils taken hostage by a gunman at a school in Moscow were unharmed in the incident, according to Associated Press.

The gunman, believed to be a student at the school, shot dead a security guard and a teacher and wounded a police officer during the incident.

Earlier reports suggested the dead security guard was a police officer. A teenager has since been taken into custody.
