The blast happened at around 7.37am local time inside a polishing workshop in the Kunshan City of east China's Jiangsu Province, China's official Xinhua news agency reported.

Initial investigations indicate the explosion might be caused by flames igniting dusts, the Ministry of Public Security said via its official website.
