Up the workers!

Last year, two million public sector workers went on strike in what the unions say was the biggest walkout for a generation.  But who are worse off – workers in the public sector or the private sector?

Tonight is asking that question in a programme going out early next year. And we need to film workers who have an opinion that they are happy to discuss on national telly. It will mean you talking about your pay; your job security; your pension; the hours you work; the perks of the job.

We will compare and contrast the lot of workers in the public sector with those in the private sector. Our experts will come to some conclusions about who really is taking most of the pain as the Age of Austerity bites. Contact Dave Raddings on dave.raddings@itv.com if you are interested in taking part.
