Choreographer Arlene Phillips has received a CBE for her services to dance and her charity work for the Alzheimer's Society.

Speaking after the ceremony at Buckingham Palace, the former Strictly Come Dancing judge revealed she wants to reinvent herself as a comedian as she approaches a landmark birthday.

"I want to be funny this year. I'm about to turn 70 so now I can let myself go," she said.

"I'd like to be in a comedy or do something totally over the top, maybe a sketch show."
