Read the full storyBarnardo’s chief executive Anne Marie Carrie has responded to the Department of Local Communities and Government's troubled families strategy, saying it is important for the voluntary and statutory sector to "work together". Ms Carrie said:
“Many parents heading troubled families will have experienced poor parenting, abuse or neglect themselves and they need an understanding of their child’s needs.
