X Factor winner James Arthur is second favourite to bag the Christmas number one single this year, according to bookmaker Ladbrokes.
Despite his triumph tonight, the bookmaker is offering odds of 3/1 while the Hillsborough Charity Single remains the favourite at 1/3.
James is quoted at just 2/1 to bag a number one single next year and it's a 4/1 chance his album follows suit.
The bookmaker Ladbrokes has slashed odds on the Duchess of Cambridge giving birth to twins from 33/1 to 10/1. The firm says it has been "inundated" with requests on the chances of twins.
Bookmakers are offering odds on a range of names for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's first child. At Ladbrokes, the favourite name for a girl is Elizabeth, and for a boy it is George, Charles or John.
The odds on Elizabeth were cut from 7/1 to 8/1 after a Royal pundit put £1,000 on the name choice. Other odds include:
- Elizabeth 7/1
- Charles 10/1
- George 10/1
- Diana 12/1
- Phillip 14/1
- Richard 16/1
- Andrew 20/1
- Phillipa 25/1
Bookmaker Coral has suspended betting on the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge having their first child in 2013.
David Stevens, of Coral, said: "We saw numerous bets for a Royal new arrival throughout the Jubilee summer, and the betting went through the roof again this week when Prince William accepted a babygro while on a tour of Cambridge.
He added: "We cut the odds to 1-4 and then again to 1-8, at which point we decided to suspend the betting. If the money talks, 2013 will see a new addition to the Royal family."
