Text sent from vet's phone after she disappeared

The veterinary practice where Catherine Gowing works has revealed that a colleague received a text from the missing 37-year-old's phone after she was last seen alive.

Evans Veterinary Practice owner David Evans said staff became worried after receiving half a text from Ms Gowing at the weekend.

One of the nurses was concerned about her on Saturday or Sunday because she had half a message from her, from her mobile phone anyway. We thought, since her car was missing, we thought maybe she had gone somewhere for the weekend or got into some difficulty or something like that.
