Cheryl answers your Twitter questions on Daybreak

Cheryl Cole revealed on Daybreak this morning that she feels "empowered" turning 30 this year.

Speaking to Richard Arnold, the singer said: “I’m turning 30 in June ... I’ve had an incredible decade in this industry, with the highs and the lows. Thirty is a very empowering age for me, I feel the best I’ve ever felt.”

During the interview she answered questions from fans on Twitter.

Asked by one fan if she would ever release a fitness DVD, Cheryl responded: “No, I look awful when I’m working out. The frizzy hair, the red face - it's not a pretty sight. It's not something you'd want on a big TV screen, trust me."

Kimberley Walsh to write her autobiography

Kimberley Walsh will follow in the footsteps of her ex bandmate Cheryl Cole, as the star is set to write her autobiography.

The former Girls Aloud singer, who reached the final of Strictly Come Dancing last year losing out to Louis Smith, will release her book in the autumn.

Walsh said: "People have been asking me to tell my story for years but it never felt right while the band was still together."

Girls Aloud, formed through ITV series Popstars: The Rivals in 2002, announced they were splitting last month after a ten year anniversary reunion tour.

A tweet sent from the band's Twitter page announced that the girls had "come to an end" of their time together.

Cheryl Cole turned heads in a £3,240 Balmain black tuxedo jumpsuit at the Jingle Bell Ball in London.

The singer joined bands JLS, Little Mix and The Script at the annual event, presented by Capital FM at the O2 Arena.

'I've been there,' Cole tells X Factor hopefuls

Cheryl Cole - who was given her big break on TV talent show Popstars: The Rivals - will tell the X Factor hopefuls she can sympathise because she has been in their position.

The Girls Aloud star says: "I've been there and I have been here so I know how you are all feeling, I am just excited to see what you have got. [I] think it's going to be amazing and I wish you the best of luck from the bottom of my heart."

Other guest mentors include Tinie Tempah, who teams up with Tulisa Contostavlos, Ne-Yo who accompanies Nicole Scherzinger and Sharon Osbourne who is the sidekick to Louis Walsh.

Ex-judge Cheryl Cole to make X Factor return tonight

Former X Factor judge Cheryl Cole will be back on the show tonight, almost two years after her departure.

Cole will return as a guest mentor, helping Gary Barlow put his acts from the older "overs" category through their paces during the judges' houses stage of the ITV1 talent show.

She bowed out from the UK X Factor after the 2010 series to take up a short-lived place on the panel for the US version of the show.
