A piece of seaside history will be auctioned off tonight as Cleethorpes Pier goes under the hammer.
The Victorian structure has stood on the Lincolnshire coastline since 1873, with its end-of-the-pier entertainments including wrestling and bingo over the past 140 years.
The guide price for the unusual real estate, which has recently been used as a nightclub, stands at £400,000.
