Tennant and Piper to return to Doctor Who

The BBC has confirmed that David Tennant and Billie Piper will appear in the 50th anniversary special of Doctor Who which will be broadcast in November.

The pair will join the Doctor's current incarnation Matt Smith for this one of episode.

The show's producers have not commented on the rumours that other Time Lords such as Tom Baker or Christopher Eccleston could also make an appearance.

Former Doctor Who star to become father for third time

Former Doctor Who star David Tennant revealed tonight that he was "excited" at the prospect of becoming a father for the third time.

The Scottish actor, 41, confirmed on The Jonathan Ross Show that his wife Georgia Moffett was pregnant with the couple's second child.

"It's lovely, very lovely. It's exciting," he said to Ross.
