A bride and groom have surprised their wedding guests by launching into a dance routine with their vicar after they were declared husband and wife.
The groom Gary Richardson said that the couple wanted to do "something a bit different" to celebrate their wedding, and that their Vicar, the Reverend Kate Bottley of St Mary and St Martin's Church, Blyth had suggested a 'flash mob'.
28 of their friends agreed to join in with the performance on the 15th June, which was choreographed by friends from Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice.
Shoppers at a Dutch mall were flabbergasted when a shoplifter prompted a more dramatic response than usual.
Swordsmen descended on ropes, horsemen thundered over polished marble tiles and chickens and dwarves ran amok.
Thankfully, it was all part of a stunt to promote the re-opening of Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam. It finished with a picture-perfect imitation of Rembrandt's The Night Watch painting.
