Idris Elba has jokingly responded to rumours which emerged from the Sony hacking story putting him in the frame as the new James Bond.
The leaked Sony Pictures Entertainment emails sparked speculation as one message reportedly from chairman Amy Pascal read: "Idris should be the next Bond."
Elba has previously not commented on the story or the views of some commentators that Bond should not be played by a black actor.

The 41-year-old stars as Nelson Mandela in the story of the former South African president's upbringing and subsequent 27-year imprisonment.
The film, which also stars British actress Naomie Harris as Mandela's ex-wife Winnie, is due to be released on January 3 2014 in the UK.

Elba plays Nelson Mandela in the film which is expected to be released in the UK on January 3.
British actor Idris Elba had to be taken off a South Africa-bound plane and was rushed to hospital after suffering an asthma attack while on his way to Johannesburg to promote his new film A Long Walk to Freedom.
Elba, 41, missed a news conference in Johannesburg today to promote the film Mandela: A Long Walk to Freedom after being taken to hospital in the UK. But the film's producer Anant Singh said he was expected to appear at a planned red carpet event on Sunday.
